Kasım Ocakoğlu

Kasım Ocakoğlu is a Professor at the Department of Fundamental Engineering Sciences at the Tarsus University in Turkey. He received his PhD in engineering from Ege University in Bornova, and his current work focuses on materials chemistry and thin-film technologies, photovolatics, graphene, electronic nanodevices, as well as other related topics. Kasım has previously served as the director of the Advanced Technology Education, Research and Application Center of Mersin University, and subsequently as the director of the Mersin Technology Transfer Office between 2014 and 2018. He has also served on the Call Program Advisory Board of TUBITAK Engineering Research Support Group. Kasım is also a leader and consultant for various national and international projects, such as SUNCOCAT.
