Centre for Modern Interdisciplinary Technologies
Core Facility is an infrastructure developed at the Institute through IDUB programme funding. Its role is to strengthen projects carried out within the IAS environment — through shared tools, procedures, resources and expert support.
Equipment
The following overview organises the main areas of equipment available at ICNT. It does not replace the full technical inventory — it is intended to provide a quick overview of the Centre’s research capabilities.

- Mass spectrometers: ESI-Q-TOF and MALDI-TOF/TOF
- Chromatographic systems: GCxGC TOF MS, UHPLC, HPLC, nano HPLC and gas chromatograph
- Field-flow fractionation system AF4
- UV-VIS, fluorescence, RI and MALS detectors
- Electrophoresis systems, gel documentation and sample analysis equipment
- Thermocyclers, incubators, centrifuges and laminar flow cabinets
- Microwave mineraliser, vacuum pumps and gas generators

Terms of Access
Selected Core Facility infrastructure may be made available to external entities. Access requires the signing of an appropriate agreement and is provided exclusively on University premises.
